Sporthotel Silvretta Montafon

We had a very relaxing stay at this somewhat remote sport Hotel. Some of the highlights include a fantastic buffet breakfast, very comfortable rooms and a friendly bartender. The hotel offers a very beautiful pool and sauna area, however, it may not suit everybody’s taste because it’s a dedicated nudist area. For those arriving with her electric car, the hotel offers charging, which was a very nice bonus. Additionally, the hotel offers nice amenities like a billiard table and ample free parking. An absolute highlight, is the beautifully presented breakfast buffet, which was slightly offset by the unhelpful staff in the morning. Notably, the hotel did not reserve dinner reservations for hotel guests, unless they have booked when advance. One tip we would offer you, you would be much better served across the street at the sister restaurant at the hotel. We had a fantastic dining experience there. A solid four stars for this four-star hotel.

My visit to the fitness and SPA center at Sporthotel Silvretta Montafon was nothing short of exceptional, and I want to give a special shoutout to the friendly and attentive administrator, David. Firstly, the fitness and SPA center itself is a haven of relaxation and wellness. The fitness area is equipped with top-notch equipment, offering a comprehensive workout experience, while the SPA facilities are a true sanctuary of tranquility, complete with a range of rejuvenating treatments. Now, let me tell you about David. From the moment I arrived, his warm and welcoming demeanor set the tone for my visit. David's expertise in both fitness and SPA services is impressive, and he went out of his way to understand my preferences and tailor my experience accordingly. His dedication to ensuring each guest's satisfaction is truly commendable, making every moment of my visit enjoyable and personalized. The cleanliness and ambiance of the fitness and SPA center were impeccable, creating a serene environment that allowed me to fully unwind. I felt safe and pampered, knowing that David and the staff consistently maintained the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. In summary, Sport Hotel's fitness and SPA center, along with the exceptional service provided by David, exceeded all my expectations. If you're seeking a place to revitalize your body and relax your mind, this is the perfect destination. Sport Hotel and David have created a wellness experience that I can't recommend highly enough. I look forward to returning for another rejuvenating visit!

Very disappointing stay, never again! Pros · Good breakfast and dinner in the hotel, some reception staff are very friendly. Negatives · - The overall stay did not meet our expectations. - Photos do not correspond to reality. - There is not enough parking space. - Hairs in bed. - Toilet control part had brown spots on it. - Towels are very hard and thin and shower products are not up to expectation for this price. - Rooms are very noisy, you can hear the neighbors talking on both sides and their alarm clock wakes you up. - Beds and pillows are dramatic; you wake up broken. - Wellness; swimming pool is a large children's paradise with too few sunbeds. The sauna area consists mainly of rest rooms with some dated looking saunas. - Environment is deserted, if you don't come to ski you have nothing to do.

My husband and I have stayed at this hotel early January 2023. We have been coming back here for many years and really loved the hotel and personal service but were disappointed this time. The front desk seemed generally overwhelmed and unfriendly. We were there 2h early (after calling first and being told that the spa area would be open for us before the rooms were ready) and asked if an early check-in was possible. We were looked at like we have completely lost our minds. Of course we did not expect to have a room available but the response was anything but service oriented. At 3PM (check-in time on the reservation) the room was still not ready and when asking about it a very unfriendly person told me that it was FROM 3PM as if I didn’t understand the meaning of it. After another 20 minutes we were handed the key without any word. The rooms that were amazing some years ago are now outdated and in need of an update. (We might have been unlucky - not sure if all rooms are the same standard) For the price we have paid the bathroom was too old, the room too small, the bed not very comfortable, blankets and pillows not of great quality, there was a tiny TV on the wall and cables hanging from it that were zip-tied together. The spa area in general is great - good choice of saunas and resting areas, all very tastefully designed originally but also here there is no attention to detail anymore. The showerheads are old, the shower water changes temperature when the person next to you turns the water on. One shower just didn’t work at all. No magazines, empty flower pots, there was a weird smell in one of the resting areas (definitely not intentional!), light bulbs needed replacement, etc. The food I have to say was - as always - fantastic! Dinner and breakfast as well. But the service was a disaster. When we asked for a cocktail menu we were told there was one but the waiter could just tell us what they had instead. After 3 drinks he stopped remembering - the menu we never saw. Same story when we asked for the wine menu. He told us there was one but since there is only 3 each kind, he could just tell us what they were. We ordered a glass of red 1/4l and after 2 reminders got 1/8l but after we were done with the main course. I also feel like an English menu is a must - there were people from all over the place there and we can‘t have possibly been the only ones in need of an English menu considering that our waiter spoke only German. (But this wouldn’t have been a dealbreaker of course) All in all we really wanted to love this stay. Considering the price but also the standard we have seen in the past from this and also comparable hotels, we have expected a high end experience but the reality was way below our expectation. We hope to be able to come back some time but unfortunately not at the current standard. (We paid EUR 500 for 1 night incl. Dinner and Breakfast)

I booked junior suite room so the room is spacious with nice decoration. However, I think for the price it is a bit too little equipped. There is one bottle of conditioner and lotion for 2 people. No water cooker, pen and paper. The service was chaotic and slow in dining area. Pool area was nice but conquered by a group of kids that played volleyball inside. I tried for 2 days to book spa but no one picked up the phone. Front desks are friendly and provide faster service than the rest.

It's a nice hotel with a great spa. But, be careful with what they charge on the final bill. During the booking on their website, I booked by mistake the indoor garage. I didn't use it at all, I wasn't informed at the check-in about it, and it has been included in the final bill. I kindly asked for a refund, or at least to deduct the price from a spa service that I still had to pay, but apparently this was not possible. Without any good reason behind. I would have espected a different level of service and understanding from a 4 stars hotel where I stayed 3 nights, with half board, and spend 900€. Sorry, I won't come back.

Amazing view, service and accomodation. Huge spa with several different area where even during crowdy days there is always the possibility to fully relax. Abundant breakfast, spacious and clean rooms. Big parking area behind the structure. I'd be curious to visit it during wintertime. 4 and not 5 stars as there are no indications or guidelines in English (only German) especially in spa area where health and safety rules should be clear to everybody.
